Take your family and four-legged friends for a stay at this lovely holiday retreat and enjoy a fun-filled trip to Wales. This charming bungalow can comfortably house four people and two dogs, and is in a rural location with lots of fascinating history and interesting walks. Escape on a wonderful holiday to this beautiful cottage in Pembrokeshire.
Inside the property you’ll find a lounge warmed by an electric fire, next to a conservatory with a view of the garden that’s the perfect place for unwinding with a good book. These two rooms are connected by glass, sliding doors so natural light floods in. Next is the kitchen/dining room, with a table that extends to create extra space. Carry on to the bathroom where a walk-in shower offers the chance to rinse off after days in the sea. Finally, check out the two lovely bedrooms. One is a double, the other a twin, and both are simply decorated and delightfully comfortable. You can enjoy meals outside on the patio table while the dogs frolic on the lawn, and the garden is enclosed with a high fence for your privacy and security.
Trevaughan is a 0.5-mile walk from the centre of Whitland, where you’ll find pubs, shops and places to eat. Alternatively, you could explore the seaside town of Saundersfoot, 9.5 miles, which has a lovely sandy beach and businesses which offer water sports equipment to buy or rent. Animal lovers will have a wonderful time at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, or you could visit some of the nearby castles for local legends. You’re 11 miles from Llawhaden Castle, which was built in the 13th century by bishops, or travel 23 miles to Wolf’s Castle to hear about the last Welsh wolf.
