Located on a 150-acre organic farm, this tranquil detached farmhouse is the ideal destination for large families and groups of friends. Get out and about in the beautiful Brecon Beacons before returning to the cottage’s hot tub, games room and cosy lounge.

The three-storey cottage is warm and welcoming, with plenty of space for everyone to socialise or spread out. The lounge has timber flooring and characterful beamed ceilings, and boasts two open fires, two smart TVs and comfortable sofas, as well as an antique desk in case you need to catch up on emails. A wide opening leads through to the kitchen/diner, with traditional-style cupboards and a wooden dining table. In the conservatory you’ll find inviting seating with spectacular views across the farm and fields, and there’s also a wet-room shower on this floor. On the first floor you’ll find four bedrooms - a king-size, two doubles and a twin - all with Smart TVs. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, while the other three share a family bathroom. In the low-beamed attic room on the second floor, accessed via a narrow, steep staircase, there’s a fabulous games room, and outside there are yet more delights, in the form of a rear patio with gorgeous views that boasts hot tub, BBQ and fire pit.

From the cottage you can enjoy walks and bike rides through beautiful countryside, as well as fishing rights on the local river. For a pub, shops and petrol stations, head to Sennybridge, 4.5 miles, or Brecon, 13 miles, a historic market town where you’ll find a variety of independent shops and places to eat as well as delightful Georgian architecture and a magnificent cathedral. Outdoor activities in the national park include water sports, horse riding and some of the best mountain biking in Europe.

A very spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated house. A few small details could be updated, but overall a thumbs up from our family of seven. Beds were very comfortable. Our youngest is now 13. Hot tub, games room and loads of TV's were a real plus. For a young family (especially toddlers and pre-schoolers,) I would be very wary of the steRead moreps up from the front garden that are open to the (quiet) lane and also steps down onto the patio & lawn. The hob was not clean, (looked it but when we cleaned it after a spillage it clearly wasnt) the ovens also wernt great. For the money there wasn't much left by way of dish washing equipment, scourer etc and the teatowles had seen much better days. The kettle lid was broken, a light bulb in the main bedroom was out, the oven gloves have a hole. The Read morehot tub whilst good, if we had been able to use more I fear the water would have gone bad. Don't think anyone looked after it during the stay and there were no cleaning / chemical check instructions. Instructions for the heating would have helped a lot! All that said I am sure people just aren't highlighting so things aren't know to be fixed. Please pass on! Everyone slept well , the bathrooms were plenty good enough etc so thumbs up all round.
