This comfortable converted farmhouse is located along a quiet country lane in the heart of the Ceredigion countryside. It’s a year-round retreat for couples and small families, with a patio and hot tub for summer days and a cosy wood burner for cool evenings.
Original features blend with modern conveniences in this welcoming holiday retreat. The pretty kitchen is fully equipped with everything necessary for preparing meals and snacks, and even includes a TV to entertain the cook. Eat at the wooden dining table (enjoying countryside views) that’s open plan to the lounge area, a delightful space with inviting seating in front of the wood burner and TV. On this floor there’s also a convenient utility room with a microwave and laundry facilities, and a sleek bathroom which has a bath and separate shower. Head up to the first floor, where there’s a shower room and the two bedrooms, both of which have rural views. One has a standard-sized double bed; the other boasts two small doubles. After a day exploring you can soak in the private hot tub outside, enjoying the bubbles and the tranquil scenery, or grill some tasty treats on the gas BBQ while relishing the fresh air.
The lovely spot is an ideal base for days out in both coast and countryside - the pebbly Llanrhystud Beach, dog friendly all year round, is just 8 miles away, while the Cambrian Mountains, about the same distance to the east, are full of walking trails among some of the most wild and beautiful scenery in Britain. In the market town of Tregaron, 6 miles, you’ll find shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, and from here you can take the Abergwesyn Pass mountain route and enjoy the spectacular views on your way to Llanwrtyd Wells (a further 19 miles).
