An enchanting cottage in a rolling valley just 5 miles from Devil’s Bridge, one the most popular attractions in the Cambrian Mountains. Complete with a large kitchen/diner, hot tub and lounge with underfloor heating, it is a great fit for small groups demanding comfort and space.

The two-storey cottage’s thoughtfully-designed layout has a contemporary rustic feel, with natural light pouring in from all angles. The lounge’s wood burner and underfloor heating ensure a warm welcome throughout the year, leaving you free to relax in comfort. There is plenty of room in the kitchen/diner for big lunches and conversation over time-appropriate refreshments, with access to the garden via small patio doors to the side. The ground floor is also home to a shower room that will cut down queues for the upstairs bathroom, which features a large Waterford Crystal Chandelier above the tub. There is plenty of storage space in each of the three neighbouring bedrooms - a king-size bedroom, a single bedroom and a twin bedroom that can be converted to a king-size bedroom. The wonderful view from each bedroom is possibly only bettered by the ones found outside, with plenty of room for family-friendly games on the lawned garden and numerous alfresco dining and seating options - including a rotating garden pod and hot tub - close to hand.

The cottage’s Cambrian Mountain location means no two days out ever need to be the same. Devil’s Bridge (5 miles), three stacked bridges that cross the River Mynach, are steeped in folklore. Popular walking and cycling routes surround the cottage, with popular trails at Bwlch Nant yr Arian (9.5 miles). Aberystwyth’s colourful promenade and historic town centre, home to the National Library of Wales, is just 12 miles away.

What a fantastic property. The location is stunning; with the frost you could almost imagine you were in the Mojave desert rather than Wales! Hard to beat sitting in the hot tub looking at the beautiful mountains, enjoying the company of a nearby sheep that had escaped her field, watching the stars (it's a Dark Sky area). The house itself is very cRead moreosy and well-equipped; you can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into the property. The beds were very comfortable, nice big shower, etc. There was an issue on our end with the date/time we could arrive, and the owners were absolute stars and so kind. We loved our week there. Hide
