This spacious converted barn is in a stunning setting on a farm in the heart of the Welsh countryside, it’s the perfect rural getaway for friends or a family looking to relax and unwind with outdoor activities and attractions nearby. It has beautiful interiors with lots of original wooden features and a fenced south-facing patio, ideal for your furry family members.

The charming property offers a warm welcome to human and canine visitors alike. It has a spacious light-filled lounge, with gorgeous, exposed timbers, space to sit and watch TV or a movie, and patio doors that lead outside. Heading through to the country kitchen/diner you’ll find everything you need to cook hearty meals and dine together. There’s also a handy utility room on the ground floor, with appliances, which leads to the downstairs WC. Upstairs are the two beautiful bedrooms: a double and a twin. Both of them have bags of character with exposed timbers, and wonderful views. The stylish bathroom is also on this floor. Step outside with a drink, fire up the gas BBQ and enjoy dinner al fresco with a stunning rural backdrop while your canine companions potter around safely in the fenced garden.

This area is great for outdoor activities and attractions for all ages. Explore the stunning local countryside on foot on the footpaths nearby. Head south to Newtown (11 miles) to spend the day visiting local museums and galleries, including a museum dedicated to the life and achievements of Newtown-born Robert Owen, and the Oriel Davies Gallery exhibiting contemporary artworks. Head 5 miles north to Llanfair Caereinion and hop aboard the Llanfair and Welshpool light railway, where your pups can ride with you. Visit Llyn Coed y Dinas Nature Reserve (14 miles) to do some wildlife spotting.
