This wonderful property, situated directly across from the edge of Tenby North Beach, is the perfect coastal hideaway for couples, families or even four friends. With two king-size zip-and-link bedrooms that can be made up into twins, this versatile first-floor apartment will suit many guest groups. Spend evenings out on the balcony enjoying an al fresco drink, or head over to one of the three bars and pubs that are less than 150 metres from the apartment.

The property, which sits above a shop, is spacious and welcoming. The kitchen diner is fresh and bright with everything you need to cook up a delicious meal, while the large lounge is perfect for snuggling up on the sofa in the evenings. Two armchairs around the bay window make it ideal for taking in the sea views during the day. Period features like the ornamental fireplace and intricate architraves give this apartment a beautiful blend of the traditional and contemporary, including the bathroom which features sleek tiles paired with elegant bathroom cabinets. At bedtime, head to one of the peaceful bedrooms with pretty coastal touches; in the morning, grab your coffee and head to the balcony from the second bedroom.

Take the kids on the self-guided Tenby Mystery Treasure Trail that starts just 160 metres away, or visit The Dinosaur Park Tenby (3 miles) where they can dig for their own fossils before embarking on a dinosaur trail. Make sure you pack your boots and get walking along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, or take a leisurely stroll around the National Trust’s Colby Woodland Garden (8.5 miles). If you’re looking for more beaches to explore, nearby Saundersfoot (3.5 miles), Wiseman’s Bridge (5 miles) and Pendine Sands (19 miles) are all great options.

The property was so spacious and comfortable. It had all the equipment we needed for a short break. The view from the lounge was wonderful and the location was so convenient for everything. We traveled by train and it was easy to find the apartment.

Excellent property in a brilliant location with amazing views. The only negative I would add is that the property is a little tired inside, particularly in the entrance way. It also lacked mirrors and storage in the bedrooms.

Location of property really good, parking a bit far away. Only criticism of property is that a wardrobe would be useful in the main bedroom
