This charming studio apartment, situated less than 500 metres from Tenby North Beach, is the perfect seaside hideaway for two. Sleeping you both in a cosy double bed, this property is ideal to use as a base for wandering one of the most-loved coastal towns in Wales. Wake up among peaceful decor, head down to the promenade and take a morning stroll, stopping for coffee at one of the coffee shops on your way.

The property, which sits on the ground floor, is cosy and welcoming. The contemporary kitchen is fresh and bright and although compact, you’ll find everything you need to cook up a storm. Eat breakfast on the folding table by the window in the living area and look out across the harbour and North Beach. Neutral tones in this room make it an ideal place to spend a relaxing evening; curl up in front of the wood burner-effect electric fire and read your favourite book or watch something on TV. You’ll find a tranquil bathroom with a shower over the bath so you can choose from a relaxing soak or a quick rinse so you’re ready to leave the house for adventure.

Make sure you visit South Beach and Castle Beach, both less than half a mile away, and pay a visit to the ruins of Tenby Castle that is almost completely surrounded by the sea. History buffs will enjoy the Tudor Merchant’s House (100 metres), while hikers will be keen to take on the challenge of the 11-mile Tenby to Freshwater East walk that starts on the coast path at South Beach. Take a seal safari or go to Caldey Island with Tenby Boat Trips (200 metres) where knowledgeable skippers will tell you about the wildlife and history of the area.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEW! Looking out over the harbour. Past reviews state that you are on street level and people look in! An understatement - it's like you're sitting in the street itself - as if you're sitting an outside restaurant table - it's that level of visibility! Unlike a restaurant table on the pedestrian, there is glass etc but it's as iRead moref they're not there! But I LOVED IT. I'm from London and people in Tenby - tourists and otherwise are SO DEEPLY kind and friendly and respectful. It's refreshing. Therefore I loved the view and the chance to interact with some whose eye you catch when I'm inside putting my feet up for a while and enjoying the view. There's a curtain you can pull for privacy. It was a cute stay. I had two dogs with me and we could go across the road for this bit of beautiful greenery for them to do their business. This little cottage has so many things you can entertain yourself with! Puzzles, books, binoculars etc. They've been so considerate in leaving things and thinking of everything you might want or need. There's adequate heating etc. So it's perfectly comfortable. It's not the most pristine - think more someone's quaint little home. So bringing in sand from the beaches doesn't make you feel guilty. It was such a sweet stay and I'd like to thank the owners. We have rented this property a couple of times now and have found it ideal for an organised couple. it has a good functional kitchen , an acceptable bathroom and a cosy lounge area, the biggest plus is the stunning view over the historic harbour , which is still in use to this day as working harbour boasting boat charters for every interest . Excellent location with stunning views. Well equipped modern kitchen, but rest of property very poor & grubby. Strong smell of damp throughout. in desperate need of refurbishment. Bed is only a small double not 46. No cupboard or drawer space as they are all full of unnecessary things. One way privacy film needed on window as its a very busy Read moreroad & everyone passing looks in.If property was refurbished & improvements made to cupboard space I wouldnt hesitate to return. I found Sparta house was in a ideal location immediately overlooking the harbour with a good view of north beach beyond, the property was clean and comfortable and met all my needs and I felt quite relaxed while I was in the property, Would I go back to Sparta House? Yes.

To be fair , the property was as described , the shower only worked if the power button was held in , didn't bother us as the bath was great, but may bother others , the electric towel rail in the bathroom kept tripping out all the sockets , I switched off for safety reasons and reported to the Saundersfoot office , the main thing was the cleanlineRead moress (dog hairs and old dog food left in the kitchen cupboards ) , this is something that I feel isn't your responsibility , it is down to the cleaning company, having said this again wasn't major , but to some people , it would probably be off putting .
