The detached home boasts a peaceful location in the charming village of Llanbedrog. Sleeping six guests, the property makes a great base for families and groups of friends, with a choice of spaces for socialising and a large garden for playing games. A short stroll – just 300 metres – brings you to Llanbedrog Beach, with its golden sand and colourful beach huts.

Steps lead down to the front door and once inside, discover a home-away-from-home with interesting artwork, comfortable furniture, and cute accessories. The lounge is warm and inviting, with a cosy wood burner, sumptuous sofa, and snuggle chair. Just off the lounge is the sunny conservatory overlooking the garden, where you can relax on the sofa and beanbags or eat at the table with benches. The formal dining room also enjoys garden views and has seating for six and a selection of board games for cosy nights in. The stylish kitchen and utility room complete the ground floor. Upstairs, you’ll find three elegant bedrooms and the family bathroom. Steps from the conservatory and kitchen lead to the patio, which is equipped with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Further steps lead down to an enclosed lawned garden and timber arbour for sheltered al fresco dining.

Spend your days relaxing on the beach, building sandcastles and splashing in the sea. Alternatively, climb to the summit of Mynydd Tir-y-Cwmwd, to admire the tin man statue and enjoy the far-reaching views across Cardigan Bay. Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw is a must for the agenda. Here, you can marvel at the exquisite artwork in the gallery, watch a show in the amphitheatre, or catch a summertime film at the open-air cinema. This property is in a quiet area, ideally located if you want an easy walk to the beach, or enjoy coastal walks. If you're looking for an activity holiday though there's not much to do in the area. The town of Pwllheli is a short drive away, where there are a choice of supermarkets, gift shops and high street stores, as well as a Wetherspoons. And Read moreAbersoch is a couple of miles in the opposite direction, where there's a beach, harbour, clothing shops and eateries. If you like a scenic walk you can get there along the coastal path from Llanbedrog. There is also a well stocked co-op shop at the petrol station just a few hundred metres away which is ideal for getting some basics when you arrive. On arrival, the house was clean and smelled fresh, and there was a welcome gift of tea bags, coffee, prosecco and chocolate! There was a cupboard of games and childrens DVD's, and a football table to keep everyone entertained if the weather changed. For those with young children, beach toys were provided too. The garden was well maintained, providing sun loungers, a bean bag, tables and chairs, a BBQ etc for relaxing days. All in all, we enjoyed our holiday here and would recommend it to others looking for a quiet break. Hide
