Enjoy the great outdoors at this charming family-friendly cottage in the heart of the village of Cemmaes, with Snowdonia, Machynlleth and Aberdyfi within easy reach. There’s plenty of space for a group of friends or family, with four bedrooms and two living areas, and the enclosed garden and cosy wood burner make it perfect all year round.

Stylishly decorated and furnished throughout, the cottage combines traditional features with modern comforts. Gather in the living room, with comfy seating, a Smart TV, and wood-effect gas fire, or sit in the snug to watch TV or read a good book. Prepare delicious meals in the compact kitchen to enjoy in the country-style dining room, which has a lovely traditional Welsh dresser. Upstairs are the four beautiful, light bedrooms: a king, a double, a twin, and a child’s room with a small toddler bed and a changing table (for children aged 6 and under). There’s a spacious family bathroom with a bath and shower on the first floor and a cloakroom with a WC on the ground floor. Soak up the sun and the country views from the enclosed garden and patio on the steamer chairs.

The cottage is perfectly located for exploring Cardigan Bay and the seaside. The sandy bays of Aberdyfi and Ynyslas are 17 miles and 20 miles away respectively. Nearby Snowdonia National Park (7 miles) is a walker’s paradise and there are lots of mountain biking trails to discover at Dyfi Forest (9 miles) and Coed y Brenin (26 miles). Machynlleth, known as "The Ancient Capital of Wales", is home to cafes, pubs, independent shops, and galleries. For exciting days out, head to Corris Steam Railway and Museum (11 miles), visit King Arthur’s Labyrinth (11 miles) and explore Corris’ Victorian slate mine (11 miles).

The cottage is attractive and comfortable; the village has a lovely shop and cafe and the pub is welcoming. It's a drawback that the house is situated on the main road which is very busy in the summer but the scenery is lovely, there are lots of walks in the area and it is possible to swim in the river Dyfi nearby.
