Explore the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and beyond when staying at this cosy bolthole. Sleeping two guests, spend quality time together relaxing in your own private courtyard, putting your feet up in the home-from-home living area or admiring Pembroke’s renowned night skies – there’s something for everyone to sink their teeth into.
This characterful property offers a warm welcome from the moment you cross the threshold. Walk into the comfortable lounge to hunker down in front of the TV or gather your other half for a bit of healthy competition from the games available. Your head chef will be thrilled with the well-equipped kitchen space and romantic dining setup, although, on balmier evenings, you’re welcome to serve up outdoors overlooking the field and surrounded by planted borders. End your day in the lovely king size bedroom, complete with a modern shower room with a walk-in shower.
Go hand-in-hand along the 2-mile walk from the property to the pretty coastal village of Amroth, where the Pembrokeshire Coast Path begins. With a wide, south-facing mouth, Amroth Beach is ideal for windsurfing, swimming and catching rays. Refuel at the 16th-century pub where locally caught fresh fish is served all year long, or try one of the neighbouring cafés for a slice of cake and a pot of tea. The aforementioned 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path starts in the village and can be followed to Wiseman’s Bridge (1 mile), a tiny seaside hamlet with a fascinating history.
