This quaint, traditional cottage is updated with stylish, contemporary furnishings with breathtaking views over the harbour and seaside. Situated half a mile from the bustling resort of Saundersfoot, this charming retreat for two is ideally located for a holiday of both exploration and relaxation.

Lovingly decorated with a home-from-home style throughout, this single-storey cottage has distinctive exposed-stone walls and a cosy wood burner for those after-walk snuggles. Choose your spot after a long day and lose yourself in a good book in the separate reading room. Take on cheffing duties in the well-equipped kitchen, which has everything needed to experiment with flavours. Gorgeous summer evenings call for firing up the BBQ and dining alfresco with a glass or two of bubbles. Say goodnight and sleep easy in the stylish double bedroom, where you’ll also find ample storage for walking equipment. When morning rolls around, sip your morning cuppa on the chairs at the front of the courtyard, while views over the harbour inspire the day’s adventures.

Once a coal port for the mines of Stepaside, Saundersfoot is now a colourful coastal resort with a rich history and a beautiful section of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. From here, take a sea safari to spot local dolphins, seals and porpoises or try your hand at fishing, where mackerel, bass or even shark can be caught. After some time on the water, fill up with delicious fare from the many restaurants and pubs in the area, or stop for ice cream on the harbour. Stroll around the stunning National Trust Colby Woodland Garden (4.5 miles) for a picnic, or take a trip through time at Pembroke Castle, one of Britain’s finest strongholds (12 miles).

We had bad weather but the cottage was so cosy with the log burner after coastal walks, steep hill from the town but worth it for the views. Didn't want to leave. No dogs no kids so everything felt brand new. Loved the snug. Highly recommend.

We were over the moon with our cottage. It really made our holiday. Probably one of the better places we have stayed in.

Great location, extremely comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean property. Very helpful property owner. Good local restaurants, shops and bus services in and out of the locality. Extremely enjoyable stay, would definitely book this property again.

Well equipped, comfortable cottage, ideal for a couple. Lovely sea views from the terrace but hadn't realised it fronted onto a busy road on a corner which made backing out a bit tricky. There was a lovely welcome tray and bottle of milk provided which was appreciated.

This was one of the best equipped cottages we've rented and spotlessly clean. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into the accommodation. The only negative would be the position from the centre for some people, as it is located on a steep hill. Otherwise easy to leave the car on the drive and walk along the coastal paths. Welcome pack a Read morelovely surprise too, thank you. Hide

A lovely anniversary gift from my wife. We had a comfortable stay and would recommend this place to friends & family. The sea has a certain beauty and once you fall in love with it. So this place is superbly located for that. There were no problems during our stay. Thank you.
