Situated in the picture-postcard village of Borth y Gest, this contemporary-styled property offers bright and welcoming rooms across both floors. Each of the three bedrooms on the first floor - a king-size bedroom; a twin bedroom and a single bedroom - enjoy built-in wardrobes and fantastic sea views. The same can be said of the private patio, accessed via the French doors in the living room, an area which feeds into the shared lawns beyond.

Good location in quiet village. Good base for exploring the local area. House had everything we needed, internet wasnt great which was an issue when watching TV as no aerial at property. Nice welcome package and all cleaning products being provided including for washing machine and dishwasher was appreciated.

Lovely cottage in a great location. We fell in love with Borth-y-Gest. Walking directly from the property we went to: Porthmadog (and from there took a steam train ride to Blaenau Ffestiniog); various local beaches; and climbed Moel-y-Gest.

Just returned from a wonderful week away in the tranquil village of Borth Y Gest. The location of the house is perfect, only a 5 minute walk to the waterfront. Its a 15 walk to the beach, there are little coves along the way. Its a 5 minute drive into Porthmadog which has plenty of pubs and good restaurants. Its also home to the Ffestiniog RailwaRead morey line. The house is lovely, really well equipped with comfortable living areas. The dishwasher and washing machine is a bonus. There is a lovely patio area with a table and chairs to use. The owner is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be returning to this house and would certainly reccomend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay or a central base to explore Snowdonia . Hide

What a lovely house! Friendly local neighbours, great views and very well equipped for home cooking. Borth-Y-Gest was the best place to stay for the beaches hidden around the corner in some coves and 15 minute walk into Porthmadog! Best beach was Harlech beach for us.
