An astonishing barn conversion in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, within 1 mile of Llyn Trawsfynydd. With open-plan living areas, a private hot tub, it is the perfect getaway for a family or group of friends keen to explore this iconic area, or simply to relax and enjoy unforgettable panoramic views in tranquil surroundings.

This gorgeous stone barn has been finished to an incredibly standard, its bright, high-ceiled rooms featuring bags of tech and plush modern furnishings that guests will always look forward to coming back to after an active day out. The large statement wood burner in the lounge is one of its main focal points, as are the French doors that lead onto the patio. The views from the patio are incredible, just as they are from the modern kitchen/diner when the bi-bold doors are thrown open. A large modern family bathroom will see plenty of use, just like the utility room that stands nearby. The ground floor is also home to two super-king bedrooms, one with an en-suite and doors opening onto an elevated decked area, the second convertible into a twin bedroom. A large king-size bedroom with plenty of storage space stands alone on the first floor. The outside area is a fantastic place to relax, whether it’s while soaking in the hot tub, sipping cocktails on the patio or preparing an alfresco feast.

The hills, woodland and lakes surrounding the barn typify the beauty of Snowdonia National Park and are ripe for exploring on two feet, on water or on two wheels. Why not cycle around Llyn Trawsfynydd or take a peaceful stroll to Rhaeadr Mawddach and Pistyll Gain waterfalls at Coed y Brenin Forest (6 miles)? The iconic peaks of Cadair Idris and Snowdon lie within 20 miles of the barn, and there are scores of other hills and mountains to climb in between.

Absolutely stunning property located in a beautiful part of the Welsh countryside. We stayed for a week over Christmas to switch off and relax as a family with no distractions and this place did not disappoint. Set in the hillside of a working farm you only have the sheep and birds for company which is wonderful and what we all needed. The accommodRead moreation has bags of character and is very spacious with every room being finished to a very high standard. The property boasts breath taking views of the rolling Welsh hills especially during sunrise and sunset. Clear night skys had us star gazing for hours before taking to the private hot tub which is a lovely addition. The owners are lovely people who could not have been more helpful during our stay, keeping us supplied with logs for the fire and answering any questions we had during our stay. The whole family loved it and did not want to leave . Trust me you will not be disappointed, we will definitely be going back. Hide

This stunning, well appointed cottage is fantastic. The scenery was amazing. I would visit this cottage again. It's in the middle of nowhere, so very peaceful and tranquil. The property is situated on a working farm and you will see and hear sheep quite frequently. This was not a problem. This was a wonderful 5star base for a brilliant holiday.

We had a fabulous stay, the cottage was perfect and immaculate with amazing far reaching views. The decking area and hot tub were perfect for taking in the surroundings, we even had lots of new lambs directly on the other side of the fence given the time of year we visited! We were very lucky with the weather and even managed to use the BBQ. The loRead morecation is remote but this just adds to the charm and by car everything is easily accessible. What a stunning place; my husband and I had a wonderful week here. If you want the feeling of total rural seclusion then this is the place for you. There are two neighbouring properties which you can't see on the pics, but are not close enough to worry about, and the hot tub is not overlooked. The interior is lovely, and the cinema set up in the loRead moreunge is a bonus for cold, wet nights! Good location on the main route for travelling all over the national park, close enough to big shops and amenities, but still far enough away from it all to get that secluded feel.
