This beautifully decorated, single-storey property near Mumbles is set in a quiet area close to the coast path, several beaches and places to eat. With a stylish interior and a lovely garden, it’s perfect for couples or small families, and is dog-friendly, too.

With many thoughtful touches throughout, this cosy bungalow really is a home from home. The light and airy, open-plan living space is hugely appealing, with timber flooring, comfortable seating facing a wood-burner-effect electric fire and a fashionably dark-painted feature wall. At the opposite end of the room, a U-shaped kitchen features all the equipment you’ll need for holiday cooking, plus a breakfast bar and stools for dining. Of the two compact but bright bedrooms, one is king-size with built-in wardrobes, and the other is a twin and has patio doors to the rear garden. They share a handsome shower room with a large, walk-in shower. There are two outside spaces: a patio front garden with rattan furniture where two people can relax in the fresh air, and an enclosed rear patio with a charcoal BBQ and dining furniture for four - a perfect spot in which to grill some local delicacies and plan your next day’s adventures.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in popular Limeslade, the property is perfectly positioned between Langland Bay and Mumbles Village, and just a short walk from the stunning Gower Coastal Path. The views from the path are spectacular, and a mile’s walk to the west will take you to the small, sandy beach at Rotherslade Bay, or you can head to the east and reach cosmopolitan Mumbles in 1.5 miles, passing Bracelet Bay, Mumbles lighthouse and the town’s Victorian pier along the way. If city lights beckon, Swansea is only 5.5 miles.

Aadref is a beautiful bolt hole from which to explore the wondeful beaches and assets of Swansea Bay and the Gower Peninsular. The cottage is all on a single level and very modern and well appointed. The walk in shower is fantastic and the open plan kitchen, diner and living room means that no-one is left out at any time. The staff are super weRead morelcoming (particularly Jo, our server on the day) and have specific bar areas where dogs are allowed. I cannot reccomend Aadref enough for holidays or short breaks, it is a cosy retreat, providing an excellent base for exploring one of the most beautiful coast lines and beaches in the UK (IMHO) Hide
