For a beachside getaway on the Pembrokeshire coast, this large family-friendly property is a fantastic choice, boasting a plethora of charming social areas both inside and out. Days out on the sand can be found within 500 metres of your front door, with Manorbier Beach ensuring hours of endless fun for all ages in the rock pools and rolling waves.

Inside, is a spacious hall leading through to the lounge which enjoys a country style. Here, you’ll find two sumptuous sofas, a wood burner-effect gas fire and a Smart TV where the family can gather around and relax beneath the characterful exposed beams. Two large doors opening out onto the terrace in the kitchen/diner fill the room with natural light, with an eight-seater table for mealtimes and a wraparound kitchen offering ample space to prepare a feast. Completing the ground floor is a stylish, modern double bedroom as well as a shower room. The remaining sleeping arrangements can be found on the first floor, including a king-size zip-and-link bedroom, which can be made up as a twin upon request, featuring a pretty window set into the vaulted ceiling on one side. Finally, there is a second double room and a playful twin which is perfectly suited to children, as well as a family bathroom. Outside, the enclosed terrace spans around the property with plenty of outdoor seating and a BBQ for sunny summer evenings dining outdoors.

Monorbier itself has plenty to offer in the seaside village, including an 11th-century Norman castle and a selection of eateries for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Embrace the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with a walk to Tenby (6 miles by car, 8 miles on foot), a quintessential seaside location with pastel-painted beach huts, an arcade and a beautiful stretch of sand. From Tenby, hop aboard a boat to Caldey Island and you can see the 5th-century Celtic monastery as well as a range of rare flora, fauna and wildlife. Be sure to pick up a trinket from your trip in the form of perfume or chocolate made by the monks residing on the island.

The property provided excellent accommodation for our extended family. The communal area, the kitchen diner was well equipped bright and spacious. The children loved the extended play space, which was secure for them and the dogs. The weather was inconsistent so the quality of the accommodation was paramount. This was an excellent family holiday.

We had a lovely week, a mixed bag of weather with very strong winds and rain but also sunshine. We really loved being able to walk down to the beach every evening. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. It was lovely to read the owners story and links to Manorbier in the information folder. The book in the lounge about the history of ManRead moreorbier was very interesting. Thank you for a lovely stay. Hide

Thank you for a fantastic week at valley view. The perfect home from home in the best location. We spent the week on the local sandy beaches, exploring caves and rock pooling with the kids. Tenby a favourite where we enjoyed lunch in the cafe by the beach and an exciting climb to the fort on the little island. Cant wait to come back again soon.
