For a tranquil holiday on the Welsh coast, stay at this modern property boasting wonderful sea views. It’s in Gwbert, an attractive coastal village with the Ceredigion Coast Path running through it, setting you up for wonderful walks along the awe-inspiring coastline. With room for four guests over two bedrooms, this property is fantastic for a family or two couples holidaying together, with one dog welcome to join you.

The light-filled accommodation has a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Its modern layout creates a clean and airy appearance, with white walls and floor-to-ceiling glass doors in the main living area. The contemporary kitchen boasts a lovely flagstone-style floor and a handy breakfast bar. For sit-down meals, the bright conservatory is the obvious place to be, with its far-reaching views you could look at forever. Kick back in the blue-tinged lounge after busy days out by the sea, perhaps indulging in a movie marathon on the Smart TV. A separate snug provides an alternative spot to hang out. Outside, you’ll have a lawned garden and a patio equipped with garden furniture. While the dog and children burn off some steam, you can relax in the hot tub admiring the stunning scenery.

When it’s time to explore your surroundings, you’ll find the popular Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park just 0.5 miles away, home to farm animals, dolphins and sea otters – a great idea if you’re holidaying with children. The nearby Patch Beach (1 mile) is popular for water sports and sailing and at Poppit Sands (6.5 miles) there’s another sandy beach. For some urban exploration, we recommend heading to Cardigan town to wander around the shops and perhaps visit its impressive 11th-century castle.

Loved it! The location was great. We loved seeing the sea from the front room. The cottage was easily accessed, decorated very tastefully, was well equipped with good quality appliances. All in all excellent accommodation.

We had a lovely holiday and the house was beautiful. I do have some issues regarding the hot tub though. There were no instructions as to its use and no testing strips or chemicals to keep it clean through the week. The water became really murky by the end of the week so we couldnt use it. We also developed quite a bad hot tub folliculitis from usiRead moreng it. We love having a hot tub but it needs to be properly maintained over the course of a week. Hide
