Very enjoyable stay in a comfortable well appointed cottage. The location is excellent with its proximity to the coast and local walks. The Stackpole Inn is a big bonus.

We wouldn't stay at this property again because of some cleanliness issues. It's a shame as the location is brilliant next to wonderful walks.

A great location for beautiful walks to the Lily Ponds, Stackpole Estate and two of the most stunning beaches - Barafundle & Broad Haven. The home is well equipped. It was a nice touch to have Welsh cakes & a pint of milk waiting on arrival after our long journey. Although there was a slight autumnal feel in the mornings and evenings, we did not neRead moreed any additional heating to the 2 bathroom radiators which warmed the home nicely. The upstairs bathroom is a good size with a great shower. Plenty of towels provided for our whole party. There is a pub 2 minutes up the road which does delicious Sunday roasts. We had a great stay and would happily have stayed longer. Hide

Chestnut Cottage is one of the best equipped holiday properties we have ever used especially the kitchen equipment and facilities. The cottage is comfortable in all areas, and was very clean and tidy. There was plenty of space for our party of 5 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. Its location is superb, with access to two of the best beaches in the world Read moreand wonderful countryside and castles. The younger adults in our party also enjoyed the water sports offered from Stackpole Quay. As National Trust members we enjoyed free parking for most of the week too! I would recommend Chestnut Cottage to anyone wanting a Welsh seaside holiday with a bit of comfort. Hide
