Boasting sweeping views over Mumbles Bay, this family-friendly seaside holiday home has a lot to offer, from the cosy interiors to the elevated enclosed gardens. Just a short walk from your front door, you’ll be in the village of Mumbles with its friendly local atmosphere and easy access to the coastal path ensuring there’s plenty on offer both for those in search of adventure, and those looking to kick back and relax.

With two sumptuous sofas and a TV, the living room has a calming feel which encourages you to put your feet up and relax after a day of exploring. Next door, the elegant dining room offers seating for six to tuck into an indulgent meal or get set up for a friendly evening of board games warmed by the wood burner-effect electric fire. Moving through to the warm and welcoming kitchen, you’ll find the room equipped with everything you’ll need to make tasty treats at all times of the day, as well as a lovely breakfast bar. As you enter the modern sunroom, you’ll be in awe over the scenery through the large bay windows which frame the view and bring a taste of the outdoors in. Upstairs, the first bedroom is a playful bunk room, suitable for both adults and children as well as a delightful king-size room with bay windows. The family bathroom is also located on this floor. Climb the stairs to the top floor and you’ll find the master bedroom, furnished with a comfortable double bed for a good night’s rest, whilst the blissful window seat overlooking the sea offers a perfect spot to watch the world go by. The garden comprises both a decked area with seating and a small lawn area where the children can play garden games whilst you sit and soak in the serenity of the Welsh coast.

Along the Gower Peninsula, you’ll be able to take your pick from a wide array of beaches for a seaside day out. Visit Three Cliffs Bay (8 miles) to experience the sandy bay backed by limestone cliffs, or Rhossili Bay Beach (16 miles) for epic views of Worm’s Head and Rhossili Down, as well as a number of invigorating walking trails. For a taste of city life, head into Swansea to gaze over the sleeping waterfront, browse the wide array of shops and try one of the famous Welsh-Italian ice cream parlours when you need a tasty treat.

We very much enjoyed a delightful stay at Gower Cove Cottage. EVERYTHING IS PROVIDED Plus there is a lovely welcome pack so you wont need to rush to the shops on your arrival. The cottage itself is very comfortable. We had great weather enjoyed the ample space outside overlooking Swansea Bay to relax. The cottage is very close to a newsagents (1Read more minute away), a brilliant butchers-cum-grocers (2 minutes) and is about 10 minutes to the castle and the nearest shops. Access to the coastal path takes around 10 minutes too. We had such a lovely stay at Gower Cove Cottage that we intend to book it again. We give it a MASSIVE THUMBS-UP. Hide

This was our third time staying at Gower Cove Cottage and as always it was a lovely stay. Jackie and Paul are such great hosts, and include lovely little welcome touches to make you feel at home. We stayed here for the second time this year, and as per our previous stay, it didn't disappoint. The cottage is immaculate inside with everything you need. Overall a very convenient place to stay and very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and so did Bertie our 7 month old Clumber x spaniel. We managed several 6+ mile walks taking in the magnificent scenery and landscapes.

Lovely spacious accommodation, beautiful view from the top bedroom window and lots of outside seating areas. The owners kindly left a welcome pack, very much appreciated. Some beautiful beaches around, plenty of places to eat in the town and surrounding areas. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend it.

We had the loveliest of times. With a cottage that is so well equipped and a perfect location for getting out and about in the Gower area. Jackie & Paul were so helpful and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
