Escape to the coast in this idyllic cottage in Aberporth. The property sleeps six guests and is perfect for families and groups of friends seeking a traditional seaside holiday – you’ll be just 300 metres from a glorious, sandy beach. From the cottage, enjoy day trips to the coastal resort of New Quay (15.5 miles) and the historic town of Cardigan (6.5 miles). In the evenings, enjoy family BBQs in the courtyard garden or snuggle up in front of the cosy wood burner.

Follow the garden path to the front door of this sweet coastal cottage, and kick off your sandy shoes in the hallway. Inside, the reverse-level holiday home feels bright and airy. Colourful accessories and striking exposed beams sit against cool-toned stone walls, and the original sash windows frame picturesque views across the valley. On the ground floor you’ll find the three bedrooms, all with a subtle seaside theme, and the family bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find a stylish living area, set under a vaulted ceiling. Get cosy in the lounge area, snuggled by the wood burner, and come together around the dining table for memorable mealtimes. There’s also a balcony for sipping a sundowner on a summer’s evening. A separate kitchen and a shower room complete this delightful seaside retreat. Outside, relax in the enclosed courtyard, which has furniture and a BBQ for outdoor entertaining.

Aberporth is home to two fantastic sandy beaches, both with sheltered waters for bathing. Fabulous coastal walks branch away from the village, with the stretch towards Tresaith being particularly picturesque. The nearby town of New Quay makes a lovely day out. Spend a relaxing afternoon here, wandering along the quayside and looking for dolphins playing off the shore, or perhaps hop on one of the boat trips to explore the heritage coast from the water.

This is a fabulous holiday home. Clean, warm, and beautifully decorated so it really feels homely. The kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfortable with lovely bedding and thick towels. Loved the walk right from the door up into the woods and waterfall. Very peaceful location.

Glyn-y-mor is a lovely and cosy upside down cottage. The sofas in the living room are so comfortable and the woodburner is a great addition. Excellent location - only a few minutes walk to the local pub. Would definitely book again

This is a cute little cottage tucked away in a green valley behind the owners house. The location is very peaceful and we were surrounded by birds and butterflies on the patio. There is a fairly rough path to the house, so dont bring a wheelie case like I did, do bring dishwasher tablets and hand soaps as there wasnt much provided. The house is verRead morey clean and very nicely decorated and well stocked for crockery etc. Its not far from the beach but the hill is very steep. The owners are on site but didnt interact with us at all. Its a glorious area with lots of beautiful beaches and nice towns and dolphins are often visible from the coast. We saw several off Aberporth beach, including a mother and calf. Hide

Lovely quiet cottage set in a tree filled valley and attached to owners property. Around 200 metres to beach down a hill. Lovely courtyard garden to sit in for food or evening glass of wine. Will be back!

A beautiful cottage, thoughtfully planned in a peaceful location by the sea with lots of wildlife to see and hear from the doorstep. Gary and Iolanda have thought of everything! Our family of 4 had all we needed and were very lucky with the weather. We enjoyed lots of time on Aberporth beach - worth noting it is fairly small and gets busy which ouRead morer daughter who is autistic found overwhelming at times but the cottage is so close it is easy to pop home for peace, or visit early or late instead. Aberporth had everything we needed and we also enjoyed time in Aberteifi browsing the craft market and chatting to the friendly stall holders. We hope to be back one day, thank you. Hide
