This charming holiday retreat is in the village of Ceido, on the breathtaking Llyn Peninsula. Sleeping five guests, the property makes the perfect bolthole for those looking to escape the humdrum of everyday life. The Wales Coast Path winds its way around the peninsula, offering spectacular walking opportunities, and you’ll also be near some truly stunning beaches, including Porthor Beach (10 miles), known for its unique, ‘whistling’ sand! The bustling market town of Pwllheli is 7 miles away.

Enter the bungalow via the porch, where you can store coats and sandy shoes, and head through to the lounge. This characterful space is warm and inviting, with a cosy wood burner-effect electric fire, exposed beams, and an array of comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV. The galley-style kitchen overlooks the garden and has a dining table for enjoying mealtimes as a group. The single-storey cottage has three pretty bedrooms and a refreshing shower room. Outside, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco at the picnic bench in the fully enclosed garden.

The Llyn Peninsula boasts over 100 miles of scenic coastline, with sandy, sheltered beaches on its south coast and wild, rugged coves and hidden beauty spots to the north. Particular highlights include the surfing hotspot of Porth Neigwl (9.5 miles) and the family favourite of Abersoch Beach (12.5 miles). Aside from the coast path, you’ll find excellent walks to explore inland, too. The three peaks of Yr Eifl (8.5 miles) are remote and challenging, but you’ll be rewarded with jaw-dropping views across the entire peninsula. For shopping and eating out, you’ll have plenty of choice in both Pwllheli and Abersoch.
