This romantic retreat enjoys a quiet setting just 150 metres from Tenby’s bustling town centre. You’ll be within easy reach of a fantastic array of cafes, pubs, and restaurants, as well as independent shops and galleries. Tenby has four spectacular, sandy beaches, the nearest being just 350 metres from the apartment. Nearby days out include the charming resort of Saundersfoot (3 miles) or the quaint market town of Narberth (11 miles).

The contemporary apartment is bright and airy and has a sociable, open-plan layout. The main living area comprises a lounge/kitchen/diner where you can rustle up delicious dinners for two to enjoy at the dining table or outside in the courtyard. After dinner, retire to the lounge area to snuggle on the sofa and watch a movie on the TV/DVD. When it’s time for bed, head upstairs to discover an inviting double bedroom, which also has its own TV/DVD. A refreshing en-suite shower room completes the accommodation. Patio doors lead from the living area to a charming, enclosed courtyard with outdoor furniture – the perfect spot to sit with a morning coffee as you plan your day.

Tenby’s North Beach, 350 metres away, offers a wide expanse of golden sand for enjoying tranquil strolls along the shoreline or peaceful picnics on a summer’s afternoon. The beach is also a popular spot for all manner of water sports. At low tide, the beach leads to Tenby Harbour where, in summer months, you can join a fishing trip or hop on the boat to visit the beautiful Caldey Island. There are some excellent National Trust attractions in and around Tenby, including the stunning Colby Woodland Garden, just 8 miles away.

I would not recommend anyone stays at the ground floor flat. The outside is filthy and cannot be used as there is dirt, feathers, plastic bottle tops etc matted into the plastic astroturf. There is also a large black area under an external pipe. The iron is unsafe as part of the cable has been wrapped in sellotape which resulted in an electrical iRead morencident which blew several sockets in the flat as a result of a nasty electrical discharge which could have resulted in being electrocuted. The owner did not see fit to apologise for the incident and became very rude when I asked for a discount to acknowledge the incident. Three places in the flat are marked with paint. The lino in the bathroom is marked in several places with white spots. The downstairs area is so dark the electric lights need to be switched on even on a bright sunny day. Its akin to staying in a basement. There is not additional blankets if its cold at night and, the duvet is exceptionally thin. Overall the flat is of a poor standard and does not represent value for money. It is also potentially unsafe due to a lack of maintenance of an electrical appliance. Hide
