For a restful seaside break in Pembrokeshire, stay at this view-tastic first-floor apartment in the lively town of Tenby. It’s got unbeatable views over the stunning coastline, with South Beach just 20 metres away – morning swim, anyone? Locally, amble through Tenby’s pretty, cobbled streets, perhaps picking up souvenirs in its independent boutiques or visiting the remains of its 13th-century castle, all within 1 mile of your front door.

Access to the apartment is via an external staircase leading to a welcoming hallway. The piece de resistance is the stunning open-plan living area, comprising the lounge, kitchen and dining space. Plush leather sofas, a light colour scheme and floor-to-ceiling windows make this space feel and look really special. The glossy kitchen sits to one side, while the dining table is right in the window for maximum view absorption during mealtimes. Both bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin single beds, are beautifully presented for a soothing ambiance first thing in the morning. And that’s not all – outside, you’ll have your own balcony terrace, where you can dine alfresco and sip morning coffees, all while overlooking the stunning South Beach.

There are plenty of restaurants and fish and chips places locally, as well as two other beaches – Castle Beach (0.5 miles) is great for rock pooling while the busier North Beach (1 mile) features one of the most photographed views in Wales, with its pinnacle of Goscar Rock in the middle. Enjoy a round of golf at the local course (0.5 miles) or join the Wales Coast Path (50 metres) for scenic walks to beauty spots like Giltar Point (1.5 miles) or Lydstep Beach (4 miles). If you have children with you, take them to Oakwood Theme Park (10 miles) for a thrill-filled day out.

Despite the niggle notes above, we loved this property - the views alone made it worth the money. The location was marvellous and having two bathrooms was a real bonus. The parking was also great.

Property, views and location were superb. Had a real problem with customer services as a problem with an electric blind in an overlooked bedroom was never resolved for the 5 days we were there even though it was reported 4 times. Everything else was great about the place.

Fantastic location. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Ideal location in Tenby with easy access to beach and the town. Superb views of Caldey island. Some ambient noise from the restaurant immediately below the apartment (as youd expect from a busy cafe/restaurant) but worth the trade off for the view. Would recommend and stay again.
