Detached period residence in an elevated position with all your creature comforts, games room and enclosed garden, commanding superb views of the Cader Idris mountain range. Located in Bontddu, 5 miles from Barmouth, with its golden, sandy beaches, harbour, cafes, pubs, shops, museums and galleries. Harlech, famous for its castle being a World Heritage Site, St David’s golf links course and miles of sandy beach is 13 miles further up the coast. The renowned Coed-y-Brenin Forest Park is 6 miles down the road, perfect for a mountain bike challenge. Other activities in the area include paddleboarding, boat trips, fishing, sea swimming, rock climbing, golf, walking and cycling. Visit countless historic sites, castles, museums and events in Snowdonia National Park. This is an all-year-round destination for a relaxing and active holiday.

Walk up the sloped path from the parking area to the garden terrace and into this attractive Edwardian house with contemporary twists. The hall has plenty of space to hang up your outdoor attire before exploring this gorgeous property with period features and interesting artwork throughout. On the ground floor is the stylish kitchen with all the equipment you need to rustle up a meal, maybe with local produce purchased on your travels. Listen to music on the Smart TV or get inspired by the cookery programmes. It is a sociable space, and once the meal is ready the dining table is the perfect setting by the feature fireplace for everyone to gather around, enjoy catching up over dinner and plan your holiday activities. Also on the ground floor, you will find a separate utility and shower room with WC. There is also a beautiful ground floor bedroom with a super-king-size bed. After dinner head upstairs to the lounge with comfortable sofas to relax in, switch on the Smart TV to catch up on your favourites, and for the cooler evenings there is an electric log effect fire for cosy nights in. Others in your group may prefer to go up to the library snug with a TV, a DVD player with a selection of DVDs, and a range of books and board games to choose from. Also on the first floor will find the stylish bathroom with roll top bath for a leisurely soak and there is a separate WC. When ready for bed there are 4 further bedrooms to choose from on the first and second floors, 2 spacious super-king-size zip-and-links that can be converted to twin beds if required, both with elegant ensuite shower rooms, another super-king-size zip-and-link with feature fireplace, and the lovely twin. All the bedrooms have lovely views to wake up to after a good night's sleep.
