This impressive house is perfect for friends and families seeking a relaxing holiday and a base to explore the countryside and coast of North Wales. Whether you enjoy the social spaces inside or outside, there are plenty of wonderful views on offer. The property is in the heart of Aberdovey, on the northern edge of the Dyfi estuary. Walk half a mile down the hill to explore the harbour, eateries, galleries and independent shops. From the doorstep, enjoy a range of great outdoor activities, including walking, cycling, sailing, canoeing, and fishing, not forgetting the beautiful sandy beach perfect for paddling and crabbing.

Walk up the steps to the side of the terraced garden and enter this stylish and relaxing, contemporary family house set over two levels. The open-plan kitchen and lounge make the most of the panoramic views, with patio doors opening onto the top terrace garden. In the kitchen you’ll find all the appliances to make meal preparation a cinch. Relax on the comfortable sofas in the lounge, watch your favourite films on the Smart TV, and pop a log on the wood burner for cosy nights. Downstairs is a family shower room and a double bedroom with access to the rear paved garden. Upstairs, you’ll find two double bedrooms (one with an en-suite shower room, the other with access to an adjoining room with a child''s bed). For those seeking outdoor adventures, begin your experiences with a trip on the Talyllyn Railway (3.5 miles). Keen walkers can venture into the national park and take on Craig Yr Aderyn, a peaceful walk where you can look out for birds and enjoy the view from the summit.

This house has a great position within easy walking distance of the beach and the village. It was a bit cramped for our party of 4 adults and one child and could have been better equipped. The views are amazing however !

Very comfortable base for exploring the area, with fantastic views. Good access to public transport. Steps to the property may be a challenge.

The cottage is in superb location.However in need of some improvement and attention to detail. Furthermore adjoining owner parked in our space on tel occasions Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review.
