Hikers, mountain bikers and surfers delight in a stay on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, within easy reach of the coast and fantastic forest and woodlands. This handsome country cottage has been thoughtfully renovated in a historic farmhouse, happily hosting five guests in perfect family-friendly surroundings. Elegant décor and modern design features are laid out throughout, neatly blended into stone walls and ancient beams to create an utterly appealing environment on both storeys. Spend your days exploring the countryside on foot or two wheels and your nights admiring the view from the fabulous garden.
You’ll need to walk through this garden, an enclosed space with outdoor furniture, to reach the property’s front door. Once inside, a spacious hallway leads to a kitchen/diner and a lovely lounge with plush sofas and a Smart TV. An additional Smart TV in the dining space allows you to enjoy the morning’s news or some music over breakfast. Notice a ground-floor bathroom on your way to the first floor. Upstairs, three beautifully presented bedrooms are laid out around a second bathroom, this one with its own bathtub that’s a dream to soak in at the end of an outdoor adventure-packed afternoon.
The wide stretch of sands at Morfa Dyffryn Beach is just 4.5 miles away, easily accessible by footpath or car as required. A place for swimming, sunbathing and ball games, this vast beach sits on Cardigan Bay with views across the Llyn Peninsula and tranquil turquoise waters. Keen surfers will love to visit Barmouth Beach (6 miles), accessible along the Wales Coast Path. Moving inland, get to know Snowdonia with a trip to the Coed y Brenin Forest Park (approx. 20 miles), a destination for mountain biking, mystical woodland walks and those seeking verdant wildlife.
