One of a group of holiday lodges in Burton Ferry village, this canine-friendly home from home makes the perfect base for friends or family who love water sports and beach life, with direct access to a pebbly beach. The single-storey lodge is close to some of Pembrokeshire''s prettiest beaches and most popular family attractions and features a large, decked area and a sociable open-plan living space.

The property has been fitted with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Go up the steps to the decked area and into the spacious kitchen/lounge/diner where a wall of windows and patio doors flood the room with light. Put the TV or DVD on and kick back on the comfortable sofas. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up tasty meals, plus a filter coffee machine for your morning cuppa, and you can enjoy mealtimes together in the dining area. There are three cosy bedrooms on the same level, a double, a twin and a bunkroom, all have clothes storage and use the family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Heading back outside, enjoy drinks and dining on the deck while taking in the superb views of the Cleddau Estuary.

Potter to the pub with a restaurant just 400 metres away for a drink or dinner, or wander through the gate to the pebble beach where you can launch your kayak or paddleboard. Explore the area's stunning beaches, including Freshwater East (7.5 miles), Barafundle (8.5 miles) and Tenby (12 miles). For fun family days out Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo (13 miles) is nearby. If you're taking your boat or bike, you can moor it at Neyland Marina (3 miles) and pick up the Pembrokeshire cycle pathway there too.

Lovely location to spend a week visiting Pembroke sites. Central to many places with shops and takeaway within 10 minutes. Great views the cabin. Everything in the cabin that I needed for the week.

We had a great if soggy week. It was nice to be dry inside and watch the rain sweep up the river. The property is in a lovely spot and easy to find with good links for taking the dogs to the beach and country side.

Need a car as nothing is on the doorstep other than the pub, nearest beach is at least 7-10 miles. Very relaxing location watching life on the river either from inside or outside on veranda, good location for exploring Pembrokeshire which has many lovely beaches.

Loved the location overlooking the river and enjoyed seeing the boats and water skiers going past. Great decking out front of lodge for catching the sun. Lovely and quiet whilst we were visiting.
