The place was labelled love cottage but unfortunately it didnt quite live up to the name. The overall feel wasnt especially cosy or inviting. The sofa was small and uncomfortable which made relaxing in the evenings a chore rather than something to look forward to after a day exploring. The TV was small and not a smart TV so options for unwinding weRead morere limited especially as there is no WiFi. The kitchen facilitates are basic with no freezer which would make it hard to store food for longer stays. We were also in need of peace and quiet and due to the positioning of this particular cottage it was right alongside the busy A477 and every time a lorry went past you felt it, it was impossible to have a window open due to the road noises and even harder to get a restful sleep, we appreciated the earplugs but for us personally we were not able to sleep. Given the love branding we were expecting something a bit more comfortable and more thoughtfully set up for a romantic break. With a few changes particularly around facilities and comfort it would be a nicer place to stay. Hide

We had a great stay at Love Cottage! The cottage is beautifully renovated, well equipped and has a lovely private driveway and courtyard area for the Ivy Bush Cottages to share. As other reviews mention, the cottage is located on the A477, the main road to Pembroke Dock. There is traffic noise that can be heard from the property, but we became aRead moreccustomed to this quickly and it didnt affect our holiday experience! The owner is very amiable and friendly (and so was her little dog!) and it was lovely to chat and learn more about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again in the future! Many thanks! Hide

Ditto the above - A beautiful clean, well appointed cottage. The only problem with it is its location right on top of the very busy A477 road. The traffic noise at night can be horrendous. Ear plugs are essential for any chance of sleep! Better noise insulation required.

A very comfortable stay but backing on to a busy main road means a lot of traffic noise a lot of the time.

Road noise spoilt what was a lovely cottage even though we were left earplugs . Not sure what the answer is.
