Long Barn Cottages consist of two charming cottages converted from the original long barn. Located right next to each other, they are ideal for extended family groups, two families vacationing together who desire their own space, or friends gathering for a walking, cycling, or horse-riding holiday. Step inside these charming properties echoing the rich heritage of the barn.  The larger of the two with 3 bedrooms offers a characterful kitchen inviting you to get creative, inspired by the delightful rural views Exposed brickwork and a roaring cast iron electric fire set the scene for pure relaxation in the cosy lounge/diner; on a fine evening, throw open the patio doors to unwind to the sound of birdsong. The twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king-size) on the ground floor offers a haven of tranquillity to retire to as well as a handy en-suite wet room. Upstairs, you’ll find an en-suite family bedroom with a double and single bed and a single bedroom, both brimming with period charm and soothing neutral hues that’ll lull you into a dreamy rest.

The second cottage with 2 bedrooms is thoughtfully designed to offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ground floor features a well-appointed kitchen with a traditional cast iron cooker, leading to a cosy living room with plush sofas and a cast iron electric fire. Beautiful exposed stonework adds to the charm throughout. The dining area comfortably seats four and opens onto the garden patio through French doors. This is the larger of the two living rooms and often where guests from both cottages can all be together.  Upstairs, you’ll find two delightful bedrooms, both with super-king zip-and-link beds that can be configured as twins or super-kings upon request. After a day exploring the peaceful countryside, refresh in the upstairs shower room. For a more indulgent experience, the ground floor offers a bathroom with a dedicated bath, perfect for a relaxing soak.

Outside, both properties feature a charming, enclosed terraced garden, beautifully landscaped and equipped with a luxurious, eco-friendly hot tub, available as a bookable extra treat and meticulously crafted from red cedar wood. With enchanting vistas across the surrounding countryside, it provides the perfect setting to unwind, relax, and indulge in a magical holiday experience. Enjoy dining alfresco in the idyllic terraced garden, making most of the serene outdoor space.
