Perched on a hilltop overlooking Wiseman’s Bridge beach, this enticing cabin offers a dreamy coastal escape. Boasting a large patio with superb sea views and a wood burner for winter stays, this two-bedroom cabin is perfectly suited for two guests and one canine companion. After days exploring the seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot, long walks along the coastal path and explorations of historic sites, this tranquil retreat is the ideal spot to unwind and relax.
A steep, shared pathway with steps leads up to this charming retreat, so pack light (but it’ll be worth it once you see the views!). Inside, this light and airy cabin has an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasting far-reaching views along the coast and out to sea. The lounge is oh so cosy with a corner sofa draped in cushions and throws, arranged so you can watch TV or just gaze out the window. The contemporary kitchen has all the essentials for preparing meals at home with a wood burner for added warmth, and the dining table is set in a window alcove for meals with a view. A door leads outside to the patio and grassy garden, which acts as an extension of the living space with a summerhouse, sun loungers and outdoor dining furniture. When night falls, retreat to the cosy bedrooms, a double and a twin, which share use of the family shower room. Off-road parking is available for one car.
Beach lovers are spoilt for choice with a rocky beach just 100 yards away, a sandy beach at Saundersfoot (2 miles) and four golden beaches at the popular resort of Tenby (5 miles). Keen walkers can pick up the Pembrokeshire Coast Path in either direction from the bay, and there’s plenty of history to be uncovered including castles at Tenby and Pembroke (12 miles).
