This was our second stay. Its such a beautiful and peaceful location, ideal for relaxing by the log burner. We enjoyed walks around the lanes and hills with our dog. We hadnt planned to do much other than unwind and forget the world, but had a nice visit to Hay On Wye and Abergavenny. We will definitely come again and would highly recommend.

We would definitely love to return to this very special location. The beauty and tranquility was all the entertainment required. The cottage was cosy, warm and comfortable and had everything we needed to make it a lovely stay. We enjoyed walking the hills and lanes with our dog who felt very much at home there. We will absolutely want to return.

This place is beautiful and we loved our stay here. We would highly recommend if you want to experience the rural beauty of the Brecon Beacons. The barn has been sensitively converted to provide cosy and well equipped accommodation. We slept well in the comfortable beds which had lovely French linen sheets and duvets. The location is very peaceful Read morewith only the sounds of birds and sheep. There are beautiful views from its elevated position over the surrounding countryside and we enjoyed watching the sunset from the terrace. It is well situated for walks with direct access to the Beacons Way and other public footpaths close by. My husband and son also enjoyed fly fishing on the nearby Usk and we did some great day trips to caves, waterfalls and hikes. There are good pubs for eating out within easy reach and shops and services in Crickhowell or Abergavenny and Brecon. If you like a bit of isolation with no neighbours, and dont mind driving up narrow country lanes to get there then definitely book this! Our dog loved it too and we hope to return. Hide

We were lucky to arrive on a perfect winter afternoon. The barn's backdrop is a hillside that was catching the afternoon sun, and the valley was filled with clouds, making a cloud inversion arrival the perfect start to our week! The route to the barn may look intimidating but we managed it no problem throughout a week that included some cold wet moRead morernings in my wifes 2 wheel drive mini. The location is stunning with numerous walks from the door and the full expanse of the Brecon Beacons within easy reach. Copious amounts of wood for the woodburner, but in reality the barn is so well insulated that we used it more for effect than needing it for warmth, despite the temp dropping to -5 ' during our stay. Cozy bedlinen got my wifes approval and everything worked as it should. 10 out of 10 for everything from us . We will be back ! Hide
