We had a wonderful time at Palace Park and were fortunate to meet Barbara the lovely owner during our stay who kindly left us a welcome basket with some free range eggs from her farm, Welsh cakes and fresh cherries along with a pint of milk in the fridge and she also recommended to us the weekly local market held in the village hall, where you can Read morepick up some local handmade crafts, plants & produce such as fruit, pies, sausage rolls & cakes. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and very clean. There is ample off road parking for one large car with a further parking space in front of the gates if needed. The kitchen is well equipped with most things that you could need, various pots, pans and utensils, along with washing up liquid, surface cleaner and a couple of dishwasher tabs, plus some condiments such as salt, pepper, mustard, vinegar etc and tea & coffee and a large utility area with washing machine, drier and large butler sink unit as well as another toilet which was very handy, although there is no microwave. The lovely walk-in rainfall shower in the large bathroom was very welcome at the end of each day and there is also a full size bath. The village has a local Nisa shop which has a good stock of most general items you could need along with beach goods which is only a 10 min walk away from the bungalow. There is also a pub called The Castle Inn almost opposite, although we didnt visit the pub during our stay as we are not really drinkers! but it does have good reviews online. There is also a lovely little cafe which is literally a 5 min walk away, which has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at the back. We had lunch there during the week and also breakfast on our last day and found the food excellent. Manorbier beach is just a short walk away, where there is a large pay and display car park with public toilets and an ice cream van on site , as well as Manorbier Castle which is well worth a visit as the views are spectacular from the towers as well as the lovely St James The Great Church which sits high up on the opposite side of the valley to the castle. All in all a lovely quaint and quiet little village to stay in, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend! Hide

The property is very spacious, very clean and has most things you would want, only thing missing was a microwave. Nice quiet place, pub across from the property, no noise coming from there even though there is music playing. Shop and cafe nearby and a castle.

We were delighted with many aspects - situated back from the road with good parking and peaceful garden. Very clean and comfortable with ample space for 3 -4 people. Not far from the beach and nice walks. Good pub across the road. We would love to come there again.
