Cottage a little cold if the log burner wasn't used. It was snowing outside to be fair.

Oh well what can we say.. we are very well travelled and looking for our paradise.. we've found it. I can't explain, absolutely cried with calm when we arrived. We work very hard and wanted to do nothing and we did. You need to take food etc, we did, fire wood if you stay more than a few days. Hayley was superb, book to go back. Thank you xx

Although Coed Llydan has some nice features we were forced to cut our stay short due to not being able to shower due to a blocked drain. I accept that I could have contacted the owner but this is a hassle I can do without on a weeks' holiday. We also found baked on food on the inside of the oven from previous guests. It would have been helpful if aRead more mop and broom were provided to deal with wet paws and grass cuttings tread in from the garden. We did find a handheld hoover but it wouldn't work until I emptied it which was full of hairs from previous guests. It's a shame these basic cleaning tasks were overlooked. It was also disappointing that there was no milk with the welcome pack which meant we couldn't have a cuppa until we shopped the following day. Overall a very disappointing experience. Holiday Cottages response - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Were sorry to hear that your stay didnt meet your expectations on this occasion. The experience you describe does not reflect the high standards Coed Llydan's owners strive for or that other guests describe as having enjoying at the cottage. We always encourage guests to contact us, or the owners, during their stay if they feel issues have arisen, so we can promptly help to resolve them and guests can relax and enjoy their break. Hide

Spent 4 nights here as a couple with a dog. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with no difficulties experienced, seems that the property owners put a lot of thought into all aspects of what makes a good cottage stay. Our dog got extremely muddy one day but they supplied a portable dog wash kit. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent...this really is a hidden gem. The attention to detail is second to none...the decor, accessories, appliances are all high spec and well worth mentioning. Not one cheap item in the property to take away from the hard work put in. The bed is super comfy and bedding super soft...so a good nights sleep was never in question. The lounge furRead moreniture was excellent quality, again, no corners cut, lovely comfy settee lovely log burner. Outside the garden is a lovely size, with a perfect hot tub with hooks for the dressing gowns provided. For those looking for a hiking holiday or cycling holiday, you can't go wrong with this property, a shed to lock your bikes safely in over night, and walks/rides available straight from your front door...plenty of them too! The owners were fab answering all questions promptly and precisely, meeting us on the day we arrived, but then leaving us to our own devices. Hayley and Rick should be proud of what they have achieved. Great welcome hamper, with everything you need to get going upon arrival...tea, coffee, bread, eggs, milk and welsh cakes...a welcome surprise for us. A beautiful Christmas was had here and great memories made. Hide
