A getaway to this gorgeous holiday home means proximity to one of the finest water sports beaches on the Welsh coast, Horton Beach. Located less than 500m from the cottage, Horton Beach is a must-try for families, with a safe swimming beach that's lifeguarded between May and September. If you fancy mixing it up, this section of the Gower Peninsula is brimming with sandy hotspots for family-friendly seaside adventures, including Port Eynon, Fall Bay, Oxwich Bay Beach and Tor Bay, all within 5.5 miles. Said to have appeared from King Arthur’s shoe, Arthur’s Stone is a legend that continues to captivate visitors and is just 5 miles from the property. Alternatively, experience the dramatic location of Weobley Castle, which overlooks the windswept coastline and is ideal for a family picnic. Retail therapy and endless eateries can be found in Swansea city centre, 15 miles away.
Enter through the front door and find yourself in the stylish kitchen/diner. This well-designed space is a joy to cook within thanks to plenty of surface space and useful appliances including a boiling water tap. There is also a washing machine on hand to help out after those muddy afternoon treks. Enjoy family meals at the dining table, seating six, before relaxing beside the wood burner in the lounge beyond. With a smart TV and a pillowy sofa, this area provides plenty of entertainment no matter the weather. If you’d like to steal a few private moments with a book, the second lounge is perfect, with its patio doors and soft seating. Finishing off this floor is an elegant shower room with WC. Upstairs, three restful bedrooms await tired heads, all boasting wonderful sea views. The two double bedrooms and the king-size with an en-suite shower room, have been designed with serenity in mind, while down the hall sits a large bathroom with a freestanding bath for those long evening soaks. Rounding off this floor is a desk with a workstation, in case you need to pop across a few emails.
Going outside, there are two patios from which to enjoy the great outdoors. Dine alfresco in the sunshine or pour yourself a glass of wine and admire the stars above in this blissful location. There is private parking available for two cars.
