Formerly two neighbouring cottages that have been combined, this impressive and spacious holiday home provides all the room you need for a large group. Steeped in character and history, they were the former workers cottages for Castle Madoc Estate next door. Families with younger children will appreciate the two lounges, each with a wood burner to keep things cosy. Settle the kids in front of the Smart TV while the adults chat in the other lounge, just across the hallway. An additional TV/DVD is found in the snug, also on the ground floor, along with a selection of books and games. A traditionally styled farmhouse kitchen/diner completes the downstairs, featuring a country kitchen on one side and a long, sociable dining table on the other, as well as a warming wood burner. The first and second floors house six bedrooms and three bathrooms, with two staircases leading to separate wings of the first floor, offering added privacy. At the top of one staircase, you'll find a king-size bedroom, a super-king-size zip-and-link room, and a bathroom. At the top of the other staircase, there’s a double bedroom and a king-size bedroom with two additional daybeds, and a bathroom. From here, a final staircase leads to the third floor, where you'll discover a king-size bedroom with a daybed, an additional super-king-size zip-and-link room with a daybed, and a shower room.
Surrounded by lush greenery and undisturbed by neighbours, the property’s enclosed gardens invite you to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of South Wales. The gardens encircle the house, with tables and chairs provided for your morning coffee or evening drink as you soak up the serenity.
