Enter the property through the boot room and find yourself in an airy open-plan lounge/diner with stone walls and rustic chic decor. French doors and wide windows let light into the cosy and traditional cottage-style lounge with a wood burner, two sofas and an armchair. Behind contemporary lights hang above a dining table with six chairs. Also on the ground floor is a kitchen with white tiles, a wooden fitted U-shaped unit and stone flooring. On the first floor is a family bathroom with a roll-top bath and a separate shower plus three bedrooms. These consist of a king-size with a Juliet balcony, a twin room and a family room with twin zip-and-link beds plus a pull-out single bed. Outside is a patio with furniture and an enclosed garden with secure storage. There is also secure parking for two cars.
As you’re based on a farm in South Wales you could take your four-legged friends to explore the countryside walking trails around you. Head to Pontrhydyfen’s village cafe (3 miles) before walking to the towering viaduct and following the footpath along the River Afan. Take a picnic to Melincourt Waterfall (9.5 miles) or experience the thrills of Zip World Tower (22 miles). Try the surf at Caswell Bay (15 miles) and venture deeper into the Gower National Landscape (12 miles) for miles of sandy shores and scenic coastal paths. Also nearby is the Welsh city of Swansea (9 miles).
