The downstairs is lovely and cozy and lovely kitchen. The upstairs was comfy and slept well in bed. The en-suite is just a shower in a bedroom. There is no blind in bathroom and bathroom has a large window over looking properties. When stripping bed on morning we left, we noticed bad stains on duvets, pillows and mattresses which kind of made usRead more feel a bit grim. But apart from that we had a lovely stay Hide

Fantastic central location yet quiet. Great kitchen diner. Unlikely to find free on-street parking outside but there is a small pay-and-display car park across the road with free parking overnight. As other guests have mentioned, the en suite referred to in the description is just a shower cubicle. This is the only shower in the house and the only Read morebasin near the bedrooms is in the bathroom so this may be a bit of an issue for groups of friends rather than families. Hide

Great location for the center of Brecon. The cottage is beautifully decorated with the kitchen area being a great family space.

The property is really well decorated and clean and location to town is great. The description is incorrect on the listing- it states there is an ensuite, it is just a shower cubicle in one of the bedrooms. It says there are three WCs there are only 2. There bathroom is lovely with a great freestanding bath, but it has no shower, so we had one showRead moreer between 6 adults ( in one couples bedroom!!) Very small outside area waa also unusable as it was overgrown and full of nettles. Real shama as this could be a great property. Hide

The location of the cottage is amazing. Just a few minutes walk to town and lovely walks along the canal and rivers. Also only relatively short drives to Pen Y Fan and other walking routes. It was very quiet which was good. Parking was an issue on one occasion when we came back in the afternoon and we had to pay and park on the car park but this isRead more very close to the cottage. Shower is amazing, although the description does say 'ensuite WC and shower' but actually there is no ensuite WC only shower which is very unusual in that it is literally in the bedroom. But the shower looked very new and was really powerful. Some issues with dog hair throughout the property but this has been fed back to the owners. Overall I would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the Brecon Beacons. Hide
