Escape to the Isle of Anglesey in this rural retreat near the village of Gaerwen. Sleeping two guests, it’s the perfect place for couples to switch off and recharge in breathtaking surroundings. Head to the coast, just 8 miles away, to explore the idyllic beaches and dramatic footpaths, before returning to your quaint bolthole to soak in the hot tub. Nearby attractions include Anglesey Sea Zoo, Plas Newydd House, and Beaumaris Castle, all within 10 miles.

The single-storey holiday home is attached to the owner’s property, and is full of personality and charm. The comfortable lounge is the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure – snuggle up to watch Smart TV in the glow of the wood burner-effect electric fire. Double doors open from here onto the bright and airy kitchen/diner, which is decorated in a country cottage style and looks out over the garden. Rustle up delicious dinners for two in the kitchen area and sit down for romantic meals at the charming dining table. An inviting king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, the enclosed garden enjoys far-reaching countryside views, and is a peaceful place to relax on a summer’s day. Dine alfresco at the picnic table, sip a sundowner in the decked arbour, or sink into your private hot tub to revive weary limbs after a long walk. The property has ample private parking.

Anglesey is renowned for its spectacular beaches, such as Llanddwyn, just 8 miles away. Enjoy a long, sandy beach with glorious views of the mountains of Eryri and the Llyn Peninsula. Behind the beach is Newborough Forest Park, offering endless walking and cycling. Walk the Anglesey Coast Path, highlights of which include South Stack Lighthouse and the sea arches at Bwa Gwyn. Journey to the coastal resort of Benllech (11 miles) or head inland to the county town of Llangefni (3.5 miles).

Lovely clean well maintained cottage and gardens, the garden area is secure and beautifully kept. The cottage has all needed amenities and the hosts leave lots of ideas for local attractions.

Great location as a base to explore Anglesey, everything you might need has been catered for in this lovely cottage, the hot tub is a nice touch of luxury. Nia and Gareth provide a home from home feel, we took our dog and the enclosed outside space for her to stretch her legs and sun bathe was really appreciated. A cosy holiday home, ideally located to visit Anglesey. The house is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything needed for our stay. The welcome pack included delicious treats and was much appreciated! Nia & Gareth, the owners were so welcoming and helpful, providing lots of information about places to eat and visit . Very comfortable and well equipped cottage with everything you need and more. Excellent location for visiting the sites of Anglesey. We had a very warm welcome from the owner who was more than helpful and gave us information on local attractions. Would recommend and hope to return.

Honestly cant thank the owners enough for letting us enjoy their holiday home, me, partner and puppies absolutely loved our stay, owners were a message away if we needed to ask any questions, board games, DVDs books, tv all there if you don't have the best weather, local to enjoy adventures out. Everything you need is under one roof
