This lovely property has all the ingredients for a memorable holiday in the beautiful landscape of Snowdonia. Sleeping eight guests, and with masses of space, it is perfect for a family or group of friends who love the outdoor life. Enjoy glorious scenic walks and cycle trails from the front door, along with sailing and other water sports at Bala, the biggest natural lake in Wales. The historic market town of Bala (2.5 miles) at the head of the lake has cafes, pubs and shops, where you can pick up local fare. Drink in the wonderful mountain vista on a peaceful lakeside stroll or chug along aboard the charming vintage steam railway. Adrenalin seekers will relish the challenge of rafting at the National White Water Centre (3 miles) and going underworld at the Zip World Slate Caverns in Blaenau Ffestiniog (15 miles).

A steep farm track and ford lead to your holiday hideaway with enchanting far-reaching countryside views from every room. Leave footwear in the boot room and from the hallway, step into the farmhouse-style kitchen/diner. Flooded with light from bi-fold glass doors opening onto the garden, this is a lovely space with an Aga and a large dining table for shared meals. The interior is charmingly furnished throughout, with items of vintage furniture beneath original beams, books and lamps all enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. Light the wood burner in the cosy lounge and watch the Smart TV from comfortable seating. A shower room completes the ground floor, while upstairs you’ll find a family bathroom and four delightful bedrooms with lovely views. These comprise a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a second king-size, a twin room and a children’s bunk room (with restricted head room on the top bunk).

Outside, discover mountain paths leading from the grounds and Bala Lake just a short walk away. A decked area is the ideal spot for drinks, where you can watch the buzzards and red kite soaring above. There's a charcoal pizza oven, fire pit and outdoor furniture, perfect for al fresco dining as you drink in the amazing views. On cloudless nights sit by the fire pit and stargaze at skies free of light pollution.
