This romantic hideaway offers the perfect blend of seclusion, adventure and comfort within Snowdonia National Park. When you're not unwinding in this idyllic hideaway for two, explore your surroundings with memorable trails and adrenaline-pumping experiences, all within 10 miles of the holiday home.

Arrive at this hillside hideaway and feel the pace of life slow down. Step into the main lodge, where underfloor heating warms your toes, and soft sofas invite you to curl up with a book or catch a film on the TV with built in DVD player. After a day of exploring, pour a glass of wine and cook up something delicious in the well-equipped kitchen, then dine by the glass doors as the mountains stretch out before you. As the light fades, wander out to your private cabins. One has a warm electric shower, and the other has a composting WC. Nearby, the shepherd's hut offers a dreamy night's sleep with its double bed and a tea station ready for morning brews. Watch the sunrise spill across the valley, enjoy breakfast outdoors, and as evening returns, light the fire pit and listen to the quiet hum of nature under a sky full of stars.

Right on the edge of Llan Ffestiniog in Snowdonia, this spot is great for getting out and about, with loads of scenic walking routes and mountain trails to explore. 2 very attentive hosts! A great place for a remote getaway. We had everything we needed in the apartment and bed was very comfy. Great central location as we were able to drive to different locations for activities nearby. Beautiful views and liked the company of the turkeys and chickens every day.

Great location & 10/10 aspect. By a fairly main road but that never caused any issue at all. Owners very welcoming and helpful. Set up \ use of living & sleeping areas could be better designed (stairs take up massive amount of space in living area but serve no purpose as bed is in the Shepard hut & could do with being clear on the fact that thereRead more is No Internet and No tv signal. What their actually is is a tv with built in dvd player and a small selection of dvds. Holiday Cottages response - Thank you for your valued feedback. The inclusion of the stairs within the living area is intended to provide convenient storage for luggage. The listing has been amended to accurately reflect that the television features an integrated DVD player rather than being a Smart TV. We had a wonderful stay here for our honeymoon. Lots of stunning walks and great experiences in nearby caverns, castles and beaches. The accommodation was lovely and warm, with plenty of space for our big dog and we really enjoyed watching the dvds in the evenings! Thank you very much for being so friendly and welcoming to us!

The daily evening visits from the chickens and turkeys was a really lovely experience and they were all very friendly. We would definitely go back for another holiday here.Read more Hide
