We loved our stay in Bishopston Cwtch. The owner has thought of everything and the flat is very well equipped and tastefully done. It was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Good value for money The flat is in a great position to visit many areas of the Gower from Mumbles to Rhossili. So convenient with a CoOp so near and two local pubsRead more. Rhiannon, the host, sent us some really useful information in advance with a warm welcome Hide

Ideal place to stay to tour around the Gower. Good that there is a couple of pubs a short walk away and a Co-op next door.

We had a very pleasant stay, and felt at home in this lovely light and spacious, yet warm and cosy apartment. It had everything we needed, including a big bath and comfy beds and pillows. The welcoming goodies were a real treat, and it was very reassuring to know that Rhiannon was at the end of the phone, to answer any queries. Having our own parkiRead moreng space at the back of the apartment was a big asset, and it was very handy having a small Coop practically next door, and 2 pubs, (one with live music) within a very short walking distance. The neighbouring village of Kittle, has a wonderful bakery, and there is also a small bakery at The Gower Heritage Centre. This is well worth a visit, especially for its interesting and informative mill tour, and its delicious own-pressed apple juice. Kittle is also the best place to start the scenic, but fairly challenging and quite long (90 mins plus ) walk through Bishopston Valley to Pwll Du beach. Bishopston makes an excellent base to explore The Gower, that certainly lives up to its accolade of being an area of outstanding natural beauty. We can highly recommend the adventurous walk across the rocky causeway from Rossili Bay to Worms Head. There are still many places that we havent been able to see and explore, so we will be back. Lovely cottage, plenty of space and well equipped. We went to celebrate my mums 80th birthday, they loved it, really pleased with the main room with ensuite. Location was great for getting around the peninsula, very central and some nice pubs nearby. Information from Rhi was very helpful too.

The cottage was spacious, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. We especially liked the sensor lights that came on in the kitchen, hall and bathroom at night. Everything in the cottage that you could possibly need. Host very welcoming, checking we had everything we needed. Two very local pubs that do food and good beer, (but no food on a SRead moreunday evening!) and very handy to be almost next door to the little co-op - grateful to have a parking space for the flat as space is limited in Bishopston. Ideal location to explore the wonderful Gower peninsular with lots of walks and varied terrain. Really appreciated the milk, welsh cakes, coffee and flowers in the kitchen on arrival. Thank you Rhiannon! Hide
