A welcoming retreat in picture-postcard Little Haven, this bijou hideaway is perfect for couples and small families. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom abode is just 200 metres from the centre of the fishing village and its beach and 0.5 miles from Broad Haven, which you can reach by walking along the sand at low tide. It is also well positioned for forays out along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Visit St David’s, 15.5 miles away, the smallest city in Britain. Have a day out to Pembroke, 14 miles away, where you can browse in the shops, dine out and tour the splendid castle. Head to Tenby, 23 miles away, to experience all the colour of the seaside town, with its beautiful beaches, family attractions and boat trips. Magnificent Marloes Sands, just 7 miles away, with its golden stretches and rock pools, is a great option for those seeking somewhere more secluded. Make your way up the short path from the parking area to your new home away from home.
Enter to find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen which will quickly become the hub of the holiday home throughout your stay. Unpack your groceries in the kitchen area and make a cup of tea here to sip with a fresh Welsh cake. Carry your snack over to the L-shaped sofa and settle back to enjoy it in front of a roaring wood burner. Find a good film on the Smart TV or make plans for the following day. There is also a small desk in here where you can position yourself with your laptop if you need to catch up on some work during your stay. Retreat to the bright conservatory/diner adjacent to savour a few quiet moments to yourself or to sit down to delicious meals and gaze out over the garden. Open the doors to bring in a summer breeze on warm days. When you are ready to turn in for the night, climb the stairs to the first floor of the cottage. Here you will find a comfortable double bedroom, with a TV, plus a lovely double, both with characterful beamed, sloping ceilings. The family bathroom is also at this level.
Spill out into the sunny garden on fine days. Take two steps up to the sloped lawn and dine outside on the picnic table as often as possible. Supervise the children on the swing. There is private parking for one car in a designated bay at the cottage.
