This charming stone holiday home is located in an idyllic rural setting, with breath-taking views over Caernarfon Bay. It’s located on a working farm, around 3 miles from the castle town of Caernarfon and 5 miles from Eryri - the Snowdonia National Park, which offers walking opportunities aplenty, including Yr Wyddfa - Snowdon itself just 9 miles away. The accommodation sleeps up to four over two bedrooms, and you’re welcome to bring two dogs along, too.

A former granary building, this holiday home retains its slate and pitch pine floors, exposed stone walls and sloping beamed ceilings. Decorative touches add to the rustic appeal. After busy days exploring, you can kick back in the sweet sitting room, making the most of the entertainment options, including a Smart TV and DVD player. The neat and functional kitchen is perfect for cooking up family meals which you can enjoy at the dining table indoors. Alternatively, take your food outside and enjoy it in the raised garden area. A BBQ is available, too, for if you fancy an al fresco feast with sea and mountain views to die for.

In the immediate area, you’ll have 52 acres of the owner’s farmland to explore, including a walk down to the pebble shore at Foryd Bay. You’ll find pubs, shops and a pretty harbour 2.5 miles away in Caernarfon, which also has a UNESCO Heritage Site castle you can look round. When the sea air calls, head to the beautiful pebble beach at Dinas Dinlle (5 miles). The house and historic gardens of Parc Glynllifon, offering wonderful parkland walks, a cafe, and a craft shop, are 5 miles away.

A wonderful property with some great views. The best hosts I've encountered in 20 years of visiting North Wales, not intrusive but cheerful, available and very welcoming. We particularly enjoyed walks from the property to the nearby section of the Welsh Coastal Path and then following it into Caernarfon for a pub lunch.

The cottage is very well situated; quiet with some nice walking routes nearby, but still very close to supermarkets and Caernarfon. Most important, Snowdonia national part is only 20min driving away. Property is very nice and cozy. Kids loved to play in de garden, pet the cows and sleep in the loft. Owners are very friendly as well. We recommenRead mored walking to the abandoned church nearby, beautiful scenery. Hide
