Fabulous location which will definitely draw us back. The cottage is good but is only modestly appointed. With a little more attention to detail could easily be elevated to an excellent place to stay.

Apart from the size which obviously can't be improved a few minor tweaks would make things easier. The full size tumble dryer and washing machine in the cupboard in the kitchen should be removed and replaced with a decent size fridge/freezer. The tiny fridge in the kitchen should be removed and replaced with a small size dishwasher. I do hope the Read moreowner takes these recommendations onboard as we really struggled with the tiny fridge. Defrosting the ice box in the fridge would also be a decent thing to do before guests arrive. Hide

Lovely, cosy cottage with great views. Close to Poppit Sands which is a lovely beach with a good cafe. The Ferryman and The Waterside are great restaurants. The Ferryman is only a couple of minutes walk away. The fridge is rather small.

Cosy little cottage in an absolutely beautiful spot overlooking the river. Down the road from the Ferry Inn which has a lovely menu and friendly staff 5 min drive or 20 min walk ( some on the road) to Poppitt Sands, such a beautiful area.

This cottage is in a fantastic location and had everything we needed. We loved its proximity to the beach, and loved hearing the murmuration of the jackdaws over the river estuary at dawn and dusk. Really special.

Many things to applaud. The most wonderful view over the river was compelling night and day. The sitting room was perfect and comfortable and the little heater efficient for a quick blast to take the chill off. Kitchen cutlery, crockery and pans all excellent but fridge inadequate and cooker hob difficult to adjust to being solid rings. BedroomRead more great storage, comfy bed and good quality linen and towels. Bathroom hot tap to basin annoying and shower very small with poor water flow through shower head. Water overly hot so be careful! Overall could be quite perfect with a few tweaks. Hide
