The traditional seaside town of Barmouth (5 miles) is a great place for dolphin-spotting, paddleboarding and is home to some lovely restaurants where you can tuck into delicious food. History lovers will enjoy a trip to the notable Harlech (4.5 miles) which is home to a medieval castle and fortification.
