Head off on foot and join the path that leads 3 miles to the beach and winds through the scenic Kenfig National Nature Reserve, which is home to an abundance of wildlife. The popular town of Porthcawl (4 miles) has a long stretch of beautiful sands with several bathing spots and places to try out wind surfing. The town also has a range of shops and restaurants for you to peruse. If you fancy something a little more exhilarating, head to Margam Park (3.5 miles) where you can try out axe throwing and stand up paddle boarding.
