Situated in a peaceful spot between Cardiff and Newport, this charming home was once a stable and has now been converted to a perfect retreat for a couple or small family of three. Set over one floor, this stone-built retreat has a fantastic, large, sunny garden for you to enjoy after busy days exploring.
Step through the stable door and be welcomed by the fantastic country-style kitchen where you can cook up feasts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The open-plan lounge/diner is a bright and airy space where natural light floods in through the patio doors. For the chilly evenings, you can fire up the wood burner and curl up on the sofas watching something on the Smar TV. When you are ready to get some much-needed rest, head to the king-size bedroom which has patio doors that open up to the garden. There is also a cosy single bedroom and a family shower room that complete the interior. Outside is an enclosed garden with large lawn area and a furnished patio, perfect for al fresco evening meals and mornings sunbathing. Off-road parking is provided for two cars.
You will be able to enjoy two of Wales’s biggest cities, with Cardiff and Newport both 6 miles away in opposite directions. Cardiff is full to the brim with independent shops and restaurants, as well as cultural attractions, including the historic Cardiff castle, and a couple of arts centres. If you prefer life among nature, the RSPB Newport Wetlands is 11 miles away and is a great place to spend a day bird spotting and enjoying the scenic nature trails.
