Step inside this rustic, stone-built cottage into the spacious hallway where you can leave your walking boots before heading through to the cosy lounge. Here, the exposed brick and stones combine with contemporary furnishings blending the two styles effortlessly. Sit back and relax in front of the warming wood burner. The stylish kitchen is flooded with natural light and has everything you need to create delicious food that can be enjoyed at the table in the spacious dining room. Upstairs are the two sumptuous double bedrooms where you can unwind and rest up. Completing the interior of the property is a family bathroom. Outside, a lovely garden lined with mature plants catches the sun all year-round. Public parking is available within the town.
Hay-on-Wye is a lovely little town that is famed for its literary history and houses a wide range of book shops, independent stores, and a great selection of bars and restaurants. It is located right on the Wales-Herefordshire border so you will be well situated to explore both areas with ease. Keen walkers can join the superb Offa’s Dyke footpath which winds around the imposing Black Mountains (5.5 miles). If you fancy a day on the water, head to the wonderful Llangorse Lake (13 miles) where you can hire canoes or try out other water sports.
