The garden and the peace and quiet really made this property stand out for us - the heatwave made it a little too warm to enjoy to the maximum, but the shade from the trees and parasol meant we could still go outside. Our dog is used to cooler temperatures (22-24 degs is normally top summer temperatures as we're surrounded by sea where we call homeRead more) and 34+ meant we had to get up early morning and go out late at night for walks. She did enjoy sitting out in the various shaded areas though. Happy dog means happyier owners. Hide

Clean and spacious cottage that is well equipped, in a lovely peaceful location with a big secure garden which is ideal for youngsters and dogs. Good location for Wales, Ludlow, Leominster and Hereford and the black and white villages, especially Pembridge. There are National Trust and English Heritage close by.

There's plenty to do, lots of walks, and parkland and a village a short drive or a mile walk away. We had a great stay, the only thing that let us down was the weather. Hide

Stone Cottage is beautifully located with a big garden - perfect for our dogs to have zoomies and snuffle time. The downstairs is more spacious than many 2-bed cottages we've stayed at and the kitchen was very well equipped.
