Offering peace and quiet in a tranquil rural setting, this charming country hideaway in the scenic Conwy Valley sleeps six guests. The characterful cottage sits in the little village of Llanbedr-y-Cennin in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains. Just 7 miles away, Conwy has a good selection of independent shops, restaurants and cafes, and is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a magnificent medieval castle and well-preserved town walls. Discover quiet country lanes to explore on foot or by bike from your front door, while the sea and sandy beaches are within 8 miles.

Latticed windows add a delightful touch to the cosy country-style interior, together with white ceiling beams in the open-plan lounge/diner. This spacious room houses comfortable seating with a Smart TV and separate dining area, while the neat white kitchen has all you need to get cooking. A shower room completes the ground floor. Upstairs, find a family bathroom and three inviting bedrooms, comprising a king-size, a double and an adult-size bunk bed, each with beautiful views of the Conwy Valley. Outside, enjoy far-reaching views over the rooftops from the enclosed, elevated and tiered garden, with a patio terrace. Please note, the garden can be reached via a small door on the upstairs landing and also from external stairs. There is private parking for one car.

Don your walking boots for a hike up to the impressive Iron Age hillfort of Pen-y-Gaer (1 mile) or opt for a relaxing stroll around the National Trust's world-class gardens at Bodnant (5.5 miles). Delights here include Edwardian Italianate terraces of roses, rare and exotic trees, wildflower meadows and a historic plant collection, with a tearoom for a refreshing brew. Trefiw Woollen Mills (4.5 miles) have been weaving traditional Welsh tapestry since 1859 and visitors are welcome to visit its shop.

This fabulous cottage is one of the best and well equipped properties that we have ever stayed in. You want for nothing to make your stay a home from home whether that be the high end appliances or the day to day products you use at home. It has everything. The cottage also has one of the most comfortable beds which was perfectly suited to my not sRead moreo brilliant joints! The cottage's location is beautiful and provided the perfect base for us to explore North Wales and meet up with family also holidaying in the area. There is also a lovely welcoming local pub a stones throw away from the cottage with fabulous and great value food. We didn't really get the opportunity to make the most of the garden due to the unpredictable nature of the weather but it was great for our dog being enclosed Hide

This was our first holiday in North Wales and we loved it. We had such a lovely stay at Ty Cariad Bach, the cottage is beautifully decorated, and the owners have really thought of everything to make it an enjoyable and comfortable stay. I can't recommend this gorgeous cottage enough if you want to explore North Wales.

Loved it! It was the perfect home from home we needed to celebrate Christmas with our son who was performing in the Theatre Clwyd pantomime. It was clean, warm, comfortably furnished, beautifully decorated for the Christmas season and a very well equipped kitchen. The location allowed us to go for scenic walks on Christmas and Boxing Day. A wonderful cottage close to the coast, Anglesey and Snowdon. Perfect base for exploring the area. Lovely enclosed garden with outdoor seating area for relaxing outdoors. An amazing property in a perfect location. Five star accommodation, the photos really are an accurate portrayal of the property. The property had everything that we needed, fully equipped kitchen, luxury beds and comfy sofas, just what was needed at the end of a long day visiting the local attractions.
