A gorgeous, welcoming three-storey townhouse in the heart of the seaside town of Barmouth, this property is perfect for families or friends to get together for a relaxing holiday. It’s in the ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Gwynedd coastline. With its golden sandy beaches, dramatic mountain backdrops and iconic railway bridge stretching across the Mawddach Estuary, Barmouth is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Spend a happy morning strolling along the promenade or hiking through ancient woodlands, before you set off to spend the afternoon exploring the charming market town of Dolgellau (10 miles), which sits at the foot of Cader Idris.

Step inside this splendid property and head to the bright and cheery open-plan lounge/diner area, overflowing with natural light from the large bay window. Settle into the comfortable seating, catch up or watch a film together on the Smart TV. A pretty galley-style kitchen has all the appliances you need to rustle up some tasty treats. On the upstairs floors, there are four bedrooms – two king-size bedrooms with sea views, a twin bedroom, and a fun bunk room that the kids will adore. Completing the layout, you’ll find a contemporary family bathroom with a shower over the bath, as well as a handy shower room. Relax in your private garden complete with sun loungers, a charcoal BBQ and plenty of seating for drinks or dining alfresco. On-street parking is available at the front of the property, or if you have a small car, you can park outside the garage.

There are plenty of nearby adventures for all ages. Head to Fairbourne (14 miles) for a stroll along the sandy beach and the chance to take a trip on its heritage railway. The quiet village of Arthog (11.5 miles) has historic churches and estuary trails. Further afield is the magnificent Harlech Castle (11 miles) and Eyri National Park for mountain biking, hiking, and a trip on the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways (20 miles).

Its difficult to say more than if the weather had not been good we would have gone home early. The beds were not kingsize or cofortable. The "Garden! about 10 FT ish, square over a back alley, was of paving slabs, with a rumpled bit od Astro-turf covering some of the area, was sad and we scratched our medium sized car trying to get into the Read moreally/off street paking behind the house . The TV setup was unfathomable possibly due to old batteries in he widgets . Yep it was clean and close to the beach i could go on wih minor niggles, but all in all dissapointing. Hide
